Bickerdike Allen Partners were appointed along with Blush Design to prepare the design and subsequent planning application for the extension and refurbishment of this Grade II listed property in Mayfair.

The scheme received planning and listed building consent December 2013. Works started on site Summer 2014.

As the lead consultant we also prepared the construction information and provided attendance on site.

The substantial works include a new basement swimming pool together with a complete new rear structure behind a retained masonry facade. Built directly over the Jubilee Line, working with our acoustic team our design incorporates details to minimize the potential vibration and noise from the tube line below.
