Over past two years Bickerdike Allen Partners’ acoustic team have been assisting the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) during their Exhibition Road Building Project;
The project will create a new courtyard, entrance to the Museum and subterranean gallery for major temporary exhibitions. This month the project is reaching another milestone with works starting for the excavation of the piled box. BAP have so far provided a comprehensive range of services including a noise and vibration impact study, monitoring of objects, galleries and offices, and detailed investigation and advice on protection of objects, staff and museum visitors from detrimental effects of construction related noise and vibration. Our involvement will continue until the project completion in 2017.
